Platelets rich plasma (PRP) treatment
We prepare platelet-rich plasma from one to a few tubes of the client’s blood with a strict aseptic technique.
A centrifuge separates the PRP, and we inject activated platelets into the tissue, releasing growth factors that recruit and increase the proliferation of reparative cells, stimulate collagen production and encourage skin regeneration.
Research shows that platelets obtained from the patient’s blood are safe, and there is no risk of disease transmission or risk of rejection.
The use of PRP has played a crucial role in the process of wound and soft tissue healing in many medical settings for many decades. We inject platelet-rich plasma to promote the healing of injured tendons, ligaments, muscles, and joints. We can also apply it to various musculoskeletal problems.
