Fаcial thread veins removal (ELECTROLYSIS/DIATHERMY)

‘Spider thread veins’ or telangiectasia on the nose and face are small dilated blood vessels that run close to the skin’s surface, making visible red, blue or purple wiggly lines. The thread veins are enlarged, meaning there is no medical problem but can be unsightly and a nuisance. Factors such as exposure to sunlight, rosacea, regular exposure to extreme temperatures, both hot and cold, and genetic predisposition can trigger the development of thread veins. Pregnancy and menopause hormones may also cause thread veins and hyper-pigmentation. Women and men may develop thread veins at some point in their lives due to ageing and the aforementioned factors. Nose-thread veins themselves do not affect circulation or cause long-term health issues.

Electrolysis works

Electrolysis works by administering an electric current from the needle, causing coagulation. That damages the unwanted vessels. The damaged spider veins are then broken down and reabsorbed by the body. The vessels disappear instantly or take a few weeks to fade away.

Results may vary from person to person, and several sessions may be required to achieve the optimal results.
